Scott is a serving officer in the Royal Air Force. He initially trained as a navigator, flying the Puma helicopter at RAF Benson. He then retrained as a pilot and currently flies the Tristar on 216 Squadron at RAF Brize Norton. His flying career started as a gliding instructor with the Air Cadets at RAF Henlow. Scott gained his PPL at Henlow in 1994 and then went on to fly Tiger Moths at the Cambridge Flying Group. Scott usually flies the Tiger Moth in the circus or his own Turbulent, which during the summer months he uses to commute to his day job at Brize Norton!
