The Circus cannot function without its ground crew and listed here are some of the members from our loyal support team. If you would like to get involved please use the 'Contact us' form

Mark Stasiuk is the team logistics manager and ensures the kit gets to the venue either via his own transit or flying the transit of the skies, the Cessna 172. A landscape gardener by trade (he doesn't need shovels with those big hands) Mark holds a pilot's license and is also a cricket coach, howzat!

Alex Grounsell is a project manager by trade and manages the circus ground crew. He is also a pilot flying the Chipmunk and Turbulent. In 2009 Alex was awarded a de Havilland Educational Trust Fiona McKay flying bursary which enabled him to convert onto flying the Tiger Moth.

Northern belle Charlie Peel was picked up by the team wandering lonely across a deserted airfield. A closet pole dancer she jumped at the invitation to hold a limbo pole and hasn't looked back since. Charlie fulfilled her ambition in 2010 to become a wing walker!

Big Bad Bob Ballard is the team counsellor and therapist. A semi retired psychologist, since joining the team he is still trying to make sense of it all. He is also a keen pilot flying for fun from Henlow.

Dave Mann is one of the founder members of the CNFC support crew. A retired computer boffin and private pilot, Dave now spends his spare time impersonating Mick Fleetwood. Dave lives in North Yorkshire with his lovely partner Joy who also assists with support activities.

Fellow founder member Peter Kirkpatrick also holds a pilot's license and is a member of the 'Bee Keepers' Queen Bee syndicate. His day job is flying spaceships and for fun he treks through Africa on his bike or 4x4 with his lovely partner Jo who also assists with circus support activities.

Chelsea fan Steve Merifield is an airline ground handling Duty Manager at Heathrow Airport, which explains his attention to detail when it comes to rigging the washing line. Steve is married with 2 daughters and he is Chairman of his local RNLI branch.

Cub taming country girl Vanessa Featherstone is also a pilot and has her own bright yellow Piper Cub. Notorious for mischief she has been known to raid the laundry to spice up the limbo! In 2010 Vanessa joined the wing walking fraternity with her first trip on the wing!

Peter Christie is a pilot at Henlow Flying Club. An aeronautical engineer by trade, Peter fences (swords, not gardens) in his spare time!

Simon and Robert Goldsmith both are private pilots also at Henlow. Simon excels with his natural flair for commentary (we are glad at least someone knows what is going on) whilst Robert is waiting for his chance to take something apart (his day job being a trainee Monarch mechanic!).

Chipmunk fiend Dave Harmsworth is a complete aviation fruitcase but surprisingly doesn't like flying, or is that just flying with the Captain then Dave? Dave is a web designer by trade.

Lastly we are very grateful for the ongoing support of Tracey & Cliff, our explosive duo from Fully Fused Fireworks who can add a whole new dimension to our shows and ensure they go with a bang!
