Aircraft History
A wood and fabric French designed aircraft, for home build construction and powered by a 1200 cc VW car engine.
This aircraft was popularised by the Tiger Club in the 1960's, being used for air racing and displays. It was put into production by Rollason's Aircraft and Engines at Croydon. It is very light and low powered so requires sensitive handling at slow speed.
Tango Charlie was built in 1991, moving on to Scott Butler in 2004. During the summer months Scott often uses it to commute to his day job of flying Tristars at RAF Brize Norton!
